Giverny: Sights + Attractions

Given that I was in Paris for 3 weeks, I decided to make a day trip out of Paris during the one of the weekends. It was a nice change to be away from the hustle and bustle (as well as the pickpockets) of the city. One of the more popular choice was to visit the Palace of Versailles but after reading tripadvisor about how scary queues can be, I decided not to go there. In the end, I chose to visit Giverny, where the house and garden of Moet is. That proved to be a good choice the weather was perfect and the flowers were in full bloom. Take a leisurely walk from the train station to the city centre and take in the sights of countryside. Giverny is 45 minutes away from Paris by train.
