I popped by Jan Power’s Farmers Market (JPFM) at New Farm as this was the nearest one. JPFMs are held at several locations each week. For more information on market timings, do refer here. Like most farmers markets, JPFM stalls offers a variety of cooked food and raw ingredients. There are a few stalls selling raw meats and seafood, as well as others selling freshly baked breads, artisan pastas and pies. There is also a small section selling items like children clothing and homemade soap. The hungry market goers can also visit the pop up cafes (with seats) for a coffee and pastry. I was eyeing some of the stalls selling hot dog buns and bacon egg sandwich. Sadly, I was still full from my breakfast at Pablo so I did not try any. What I did get was a big bag of seasonal fruits, which consists of mandarins, mangoes and strawberries. The mangoes were huge and much cheaper than the ones found in the supermarket. Will definitely visit it again when I come in February!
